Information about our partnership:

 

 

Duration - established 1995 - now one of the longest running primary partnerships in the country

 

Pupils involved at any time – all at Countess Gytha, 300 of the 1100 pupils at Mufulira

 

Teacher exchanges - 23  

 

Funding – through the generosity of the school community in response to ongoing fund raising projects

 

Lives enriched by the partnership – too many to count!

 

 

2008 - the latest exchange between our two schools involved the pupils in:

 

·        My World Through the Eyes of a Child - living in Queen Camel and Mufulira as recorded in photos taken by the pupils of each school

 

·        Learning songs from each others culture

 

 

   Pupils in Mufulira Basic School have fun

·        Learning about day to day life in each others country

The future?

 

Fundraising continues for the next exchange in 2010. The focus of the exchange is to be decided.
